New York City, October 15, 2016- Nina Vaca was a featured participant in Time Inc’s fifth annual Festival People en Español. Aimed at empowering and energizing the Hispanic community, Festival People en Español invited Vaca to speak on both of the Macy’s Women’s Empowerment Panels, moderated by People en Español Fashion and Beauty Director Ursula Carranza. Joining Vaca on the Saturday panel were TV personality Laura Posada and actress Adamari López, This created an innovative mix of art and business to inspire women to find their own path to greatness. Vaca shared her personal entrepreneurial journey and the success and satisfaction she has found in the business world. The following day Vaca returned to discuss the personal impact of empowerment with Girl Scouts Interim CEO Sylvia Acevedo. In both panels her message was the same- women and girls can choose business and choose STEM -where the possibilities are endless and you can create a satisfying lifelong career .
