Nina Vaca, Founder, CEO & Chairman of Pinnacle Group, was honored as a recipient of the Woman of Distinction Award by the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas at the Women of Distinction Luncheon Nov. 3 in Dallas.
She was awarded alongside Sara Martineau, a remarkable philanthropist. Awards were also presented to education advocate Todd Williams, who received the Man Enough to be a Girl Scout recognition, and to high schoolers Shelly Goel and Emma Shore, who both received the Young Woman of Distinction Award.
Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas serves more than 27,000 girls and 12,500 adults in 32 northeast Texas counties. The leadership development organization builds girls into G.I.R.L.s – go-getters, innovators, risk takers, and leaders. The Women of Distinction Luncheon honors those who have significantly advanced opportunities for girls and women.
